Terms of Service

Version 2026-08-23

Please read these terms before creating an account. They explain what the site is, what it is emphatically not — investment advice — and what we each agree to.

1. Who we are and what this is

MarketStoryBook.com ("the site") is operated by MarketStoryBook. You can reach us through our contact form.

The site collects market narratives — stories such as an energy shock or a shift in software spending — and shows which listed companies are commonly discussed in connection with them, together with price history and background reading.

By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Information only — not investment advice

Nothing on the site is investment advice, a personal recommendation, an offer, or a solicitation to buy or sell any financial instrument. We do not know your circumstances and we do not assess whether anything shown is suitable for you.

Stories, signals such as story progress, company exposure and already-priced-in, bull and bear cases, and 200-session average prices are editorial and partly machine-generated interpretations. They can be incomplete, out of date, or simply wrong.

Past performance does not predict future results. The value of investments can fall as well as rise and you can lose your entire investment. Decisions you make are yours alone. Consider taking independent, licensed advice before investing.

We hold no positions in any stock shown, accept no paid placement or sponsorship, and earn nothing from your trades.

3. AI-generated content

Large parts of the site are produced by artificial-intelligence language models: story descriptions and taglines, bull and bear cases and their triggers, the “what changed” points, company-exposure judgements and already-priced-in ratings, and suggestions of which companies belong to a story. We tell you this in line with the transparency requirement of the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, Art. 50) and label such content on the pages where it appears.

AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or plainly invented. It is not verified fact and it is not a professional opinion. We show sources and a last-updated date beside each conclusion so you can check it yourself, and a human reviews a story before it is published — but that review does not make the output correct or complete.

No AI output on this site is investment advice, a personal recommendation, or an automated decision about you. Nothing here profiles you or is tailored to your circumstances, and no model output is used to make a decision that affects you legally.

4. Market data

Price and company data comes from third-party providers, currently Marketstack and Yahoo Finance. It is delayed, may contain gaps or errors, and is provided for information only. We do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness, and we are not responsible for provider outages or corrections.

5. Your account

You need an account to follow stories, receive Alerts emails, and suggest stories. You must be at least 18 years old and give a working email address.

Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.

You can delete your account at any time from your profile page. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

6. Acceptable use

Please do not: scrape or bulk-download the site or its data; resell or redistribute market data; attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the site; submit unlawful, defamatory, or misleading content through story suggestions or feedback; or use the site to give financial advice to others as if it were ours.

We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these rules.

7. Content you send us

When you suggest a story or send feedback, you give us permission to read it, act on it, and publish an edited version of the idea on the site. Do not send anything confidential or anything you do not have the right to share.

8. Our content

Text, design, illustrations, and code on the site belong to us or our licensors. You may read and share links freely and quote short extracts with attribution. Anything beyond that needs our written permission.

9. Availability and changes

The site is provided as-is and as-available. We may change, pause, or discontinue features, stories, or emails at any time, and we do not promise uninterrupted access.

We may update these terms. The current version and its date are always shown at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced on the site or by email; continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new version.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for investment losses, lost profits, or indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on anything shown on it.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer in the EU.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Denmark, without affecting the protection given to you by the mandatory consumer law of your own country of residence in the EU. Disputes may be brought before the courts of Denmark or, if you are a consumer, the courts where you live.
